Stopped by our customer's location for a routine check on their restaurant equipment. After arriving, we got straight to work on the reach-in refrigerators, cleaning their condenser coils, and inspecting the drains. We confirmed they were all running at the correct temperature. Moving on to the ice machine, we discovered a faulty water filter and bypassed it temporarily, but it definitely needs a replacement soon. We cleaned out the system, drained and scrubbed the bin, and made sure all traces of cleaner were eliminated. We then assessed the walk-in coolers and AC units, and everything seemed to be in great shape. Management reached out to us experiencing issues with their two ice machines. After assessing the situation, we found a clogged drain alert on the machine in the kitchen and dirty water sensors in the one above the walk-in. No worries though, we rolled up our sleeves and got out the tools, quickly clearing out the drain and cleaning the water sensor which brought them back to life in no time! Our client called after spotting a leaky ice machine in the walk-in cooler. Immediately, we saw the culprit - the drain hadn't been correctly run into the drain outlet. Our team moved quickly, installing clamps to secure the drain lines and replaced a dodgy mail adapter on the evaporator coil drain line. During a routine check-up, we met with our customer to address the essential upgrades and maintenance needed in their refrigeration systems. Our tasks included a thorough cleaning of condenser coils, replacement of filters in reach-in units, draining line checks, and comprehensive washout and service of the walk-in cooler and freezer units. One notable task we tackled was the deep cleaning of the neglected ice machine, ensuring mint condition for its cycles. Post-service, we identified the urgent need for new suction line insulation in all three units. Our customer reached out stating their steamer wasn't heating. We quickly found two blown fuses and replaced them. We noticed the time delay relay was getting stuck, leading to an overheated unit and a persistent buzzer, which was blowing the fuse. We ordered a new relay to fix the issue. With the power turned off, we removed the back panel of the steamer and the faulty relay. After installing the new relay and powering it back on, the cook tested the steamer - it's working like a dream now! We're helping out with a noisy blower motor issue in two apartments. We've proposed to replace these motors as their bearings are going out. After power off and dismantling, we've cleaned the inside cabinet, blower wheel, and evaporator. Post-assembly, units are temping well. We met up with our customer on location where we carried out a preventative maintenance check. A thorough cleaning of the condenser coils in all reach-in units was done. New, clean filters were installed after which we inspected all the drain lines for possible clogs. The temperature was checked and all systems but one are up and running - the under the counter beverage unit isn't performing and is being left be for now. The troubling issue - severe deterioration of the evaporator coil in the walk-in cooler. Post-coil cleanup, we tended to the rooftop condensers and swapped air filters. We had a productive day helping our customer keep their cooling systems in peak condition. We stopped by to perform a general maintenance on their walk-ins, reach-ins, and ice machines. We cleaned the coils, changed filters, and checked gaskets on all reach-ins. The walk-in cooler and freezer got a thorough cleaning as well and their temperatures checked out fine. The ice machine was meticulously cleaned, sanitized, and flushed ensuring a smooth run. We met with our customer who contacted us about a freezing evaporator. Upon inspection, no ice was detected, but we tested the superheat at both the evaporator and condenser, giving us an all-clear. Just to be thorough, we also checked defrost operations - clock's ticking away perfectly! We thought the pump down was accurate for this cooler. We advised them to avoid leaving the door open too much. All looks good now, and we're pleased with our thorough inspection. #AdvantageRefrigeration #HVACrepair

We got contacted by a client who had a significant issue: their pool's dehumidifier was completely offline. After a careful review, we identified two blown fuses. We took no time in replacing them, but they blew off again right away, leading us to a suspicious transformer. Unfortunately, sourcing a 200 VA transformer wasn't immediate, but as soon as we got it, we got back to sort out the issue. After the new transformer installation, we discovered another culprit - a faulty compressor contactor. That got replaced too.
